Hi, it's great to meet you!
My name is Susan Bresky and I am an Occupational Therapist with more than 25 years of experience. I have devoted over 20 years of my career exclusively assisting persons with traumatic brain injury in their recovery. My background as an Occupational Therapist, along with my extensive experience in the field of brain injury, allow me to provide skilled, individualized treatment. The cognitive rehabilitation which I provide enables patients to enhance their cognitive skills, including executive functions to maximize their independence and successful performance of daily living skills, as well as to resume the roles and level of functioning they had achieved prior to their injuries. I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
More recently, I have expanded on my love of helping people better manage their executive functions by providing ADHD/ Executive Function Coaching for people with ADHD and ADHD-like symptoms to also enhance their lives. I earned the certification of ADHD-RSP, which designates me as a Certified Professional Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Rehabilitation Services Provider. I have extensive experience treating ADHD-diagnosed clients through ADHD coaching, and also have completed intensive training in evidence-based treatment strategies to maximize my effectiveness as both a coach and a therapist. I am presently working toward completing my international certification as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
I am currently a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), International Coaching Federation (ICF), Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) and Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
